About Us

The Collective Imagination Practices Toolkit (CIPT) is a project run by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF), an independent social change organisation working to support and speed up the transition to a more equitable and just future, free from poverty where people and planet can flourish. We are a company limited by guarantee (12132713) and a registered charity (Scotland: SC049712; England and Wales: 1184957).

How this website uses your data 

Analytics are automatically embedded in the header of this website by Squarespace. It is configured to collect data only when you have positively opted in to cookies.

If you submit a feedback form through our website, or opt in to join the learning practices mailing list, the data you provide will be processed by Squarespace, sent by email to a shared monitored jrf.org email address, and will also be stored in a document in a Google Workspace Spreadsheet. The email and the spreadsheet are password protected, and access restricted to nominated staff members.

If you sign up for membership of the Collective Imagination Practice Community, the data you provide will be stored in a document in a Google Workplace Spreadsheet managed by Canopy.

Services we use on this website

We use third party services and online platforms to host this website, store files, process and manage data submitted via forms, and embed content.

These services manage the data from these tools on our behalf, governed by the contracts we have with them,  and their terms of service and privacy policies. 

This website is built using Squarespace, which stores data in data centres across the United States. This is their Privacy Policy. We have agreed to their Terms of Service and signed their Data Processing Addendum.

We also embed content from third party sites to offer document, video and audio sharing and embeds.

If a platform or service we use has data centres outside the UK or EU, we may transfer your information outside the UK or European Economic Area. We take reasonable steps to make sure your personal information is treated securely and is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and data processing agreements.
